Tullymacreeve Road, Mullaghbawn, Mullaghbawn, County Down, BT35 9RE
Willow, weaving, bird, birdpod

About

Make a willow birdpod using sustainable Irish willow. This morning workshop for beginners is delivered at Bluebell Lane's natural woodland by artist/weaver Jeanette Keenan. Onsite parking and all materials supplied. Hot drinks and biscuits on arrival around a big open fire give this outdoor learning experience a social twist.

The venue is sheltered but warm clothes are also advised. Go home with new skills in basket weaving and a willow bird home. Willow weaving requires a level of dexterity and may not be suitable for people with arthritic conditions of the hands.
