GoT Filming Locations at Tollymore Forest and Inch Abbey

Inch Abbey was founded way back in the 11th century. More recently, its crumbling walls served as the site where Robb Stark’s bannerman rallied his master after their victory in the battle of the Whispering Wood.
Hoster Tully’s Funeral on the River Quoile
Pay your respects to the head of the Tully family on the banks of the river Quoile. Taking its cues from Viking lore, season three saw Hoster Tully receive a traditional cremation on a boat on the Trident river.
The real life Quoile is full of mystery and intrigue. In 1991, a log boat dating back over 5000 years to 2739BC was uncovered on the river’s bed as part of dredging operations.
Self Guided Game of Thrones® Cycling Tours
Audley’s Field played a starring role in season two of Game of Thrones®. Explore Robb Stark’s trail with a self guided cycling tour. Set around the tower of Audley Castle, the grounds are home to several key scenes, including the first meeting of Robb Stark with Talisa the healer, his future bride.
The site comprises a network of paths and trails, which converge on the 17th century castle. Wooded landscape and the long shores of Castle Ward lake make for a relaxing and enjoyable cycle, suitable for all abilities.
