About

Ballymoyer Old Church, in the churchyard of St. Luke’s Church of Ireland parish, is a rare example of seventeeth century architecture and of particular interest are the heavy round-headed windows.

Florence Mac Moyer, the last hereditary keeper of the Book of Armagh, pawned the Book for £5 and gave evidence in the trial of Oliver Plunkett. The Book of Armagh is now in the library of Trinity College, Dublin.
