The wonderful Avalon return to the Folk Club at Rostrevor Inn for a very special Christmas season concert. This is their third concert at the Folk Club, following two packed out performances.
Avalon consist of Andrea Rea, Brendan Monaghan, Jan Lyttle, Paula Rafferty and Nuala Curran - a multi-instrumental ensemble with a love for classical, folk and traditional music. With two violins, cello, Uilleann pipes, whistles, guitar, keys and percussion, the Avalon Quintet enjoy fusing styles from classical Bach to traditional Carolan, as well as performing stand alone traditional sets, folk songs, and jazz and popular repertoire with a twist.
