The 2022 calendar is bursting with your all-time favourites and a brand new event to look forward to in Newcastle at the end of the summer.

Don’t delay, get these dates into your diary!

June

Kilbroney Vintage Show is Euorpe's largest classic vehicle show and will take place on Saturday 18 June in Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor.  It includes all types of classic vehicles cars, tractors and motocycles.

July

Castlewellan and District Agricultural Show is being held in Castlewellan Forest Park on Saturday 16 July. This is a fun event for all the family.  Watch prize-winning cattle, sheep, goats, horses and pigs, to mention a few, or sample local food and craft as producers showcase their wares.  There is live music to enjoy, a fashion tent and how could anyone resist the amazing craft and food marquees promotiong all that is 'good' about Northern Ireland artisan local foods and cottage crafts.  There will also be a Vintage Tea marquee ran by Save the Children.
The very popular Soma Festival in Castlewellan is heading back to it's roots from 22-24 July celebrating life through music, art and culture. Renowned for its big gigs and intimate concerts, the Soma Festival is a gathering of like-minded musicians, artists, storytellers, poets, crafters, entertainers and revellers.
Fiddler’s Green International Festival, Rostrevor is programmed for 27-31 July.  A wonderful festival of music, arts and culture with an exciting line up.
Skiffies Festival in Delamont Country Park, Killyleagh will take place 30-31 July.  The organsing has started so keep your eyes opened for updates on our site. 

August

Downtime Festival in Downpatrick will take place from 4-7 August.  Enjoy this festival of racing, music and culture in the County town of Down.
The Champion of Champions Pipe Band Championships will be held in Newcastle on 6 August.
The Loughside Festival, Warrenpoint (formarly The Maiden of the Mournes Festival) will take place 11-15 August.
Iúr Cinn Fleadh, Newry will return to Newry City from 25-29 August.  This sensational show incorporates, music, mirth and more.  There will be singing in the street and dancing on the green.
Wake the Giant Festival returns to the seaside town of Warrenpoint 20 and 21 August.  It's going to be a noisy one!  Come along and enjoy the family fun, we can't wait to see what happens this year.

September

The new Eats and Beats Festival in Newcastle will take place 3-4 September.  This festival will showcase our outstanding local food, drink, arts, culture and music under the spectacular backdrop of the Mourne Mountains.  Don't miss it!

October

The popular Footsteps in the Forest Festival will make a return to Slieve Gullion Forest Park at the later date of Thursday 27 to Monday 31 October.
