Situated deep in the South Down countryside in an area of outstanding beauty (AOB) The Summer House is close to the shores of Strangford Lough yet only minutes from local villages.This little gem offers the ultimate ‘get away from it all’ accommodation. Perfect for a couple or single adult wanting absolute peace and quiet or an ideal location to explore the area.

The Summer House sits on a wide sunny deck on the edge of a little pond in a very private garden. It also has a sunny patio and gazebo with BBQ and hammock. Newly and extensively refurbished in 2020 it has a lovely bright studio bedroom with luxury en suite. It is fully glazed to two sides with lovely pond and garden views and is not overlooked. There is a romantic log burner and is also centrally heated, perfect for cosy evenings in.

There are tea and coffee making facilities, microwave and a small fridge. There is free view TV and a sound dock.

The owners are happy for holiday makers to have exclusive use of the luxury kitchen, living room and conservatory of their guest annexe next door. There is Sky TV and a sound system in the annexe.

Each morning a luxury breakfast hamper is delivered to the porch. A fabulous chef prepared meal can be arranged.

Although in a rural location it is only 5 minutes from local pubs, restaurants and shops, less than 30 minutes from Belfast and around 2 hrs from Dublin.
