Take a guided walking tour and discover Strangford’s rich heritage.  You can board the Strangford ferry, a 2 minute walk from the front door and take the short journey across the lough to Portaferry.  The Exploris Aquarium is a must-visit, showcasing marine life from Strangford Lough and beyond.  For whiskey and gin enthusiasts, a 5 minute drive down the peninsula from Portaferry, takes you to the Echlinville Distillery, where you can enjoy guided tours and tastings of award-winning Irish spirits. Golf lovers can tee off at Ardglass Golf Club, home to the world’s oldest clubhouse and stunning coastal fairways with breathtaking sea views.
