We have focused our “Blue Door” serviced apartments to accommodate the needs of golfers, hill walkers those seeking the beach or the relaxed ambiance of local restaurants, cafés, bars and hotels, offering peaceful and comfortable space to relax in at the end of a long day.

Blue Door Apartments are centrally located in the heart of Newcastle, a two-minute stroll from the promenade and beach, four-minute walk to the famous Royal County Down golf course and the Mourne golf course, and within easy travel distance of many popular attractions. Murlough Nature

“Blue Door” serviced apartments are Northern Ireland Tourist Board certified, each apartment is designed for your comfort, and feature either double or king size beds. Nothing beats the luxury of relaxing in bed at the end of a long day. Our beds feature luxury hotel quality linen, and the bedrooms re designed for a relaxed stay.  There is excellent storage for clothes, shoes etc., an iron and ironing board to “iron out any creases” from travel!
“Blue Door” serviced apartments provide individually designed bathrooms with walk in showers and heated towel rails. For your comfort we provide complimentary shower gel, shampoo, tissues and luxurious white hotel standard bath and hand towels.
“Blue Door” apartments feature individually designed living spaces with well stocked kitchen units, where you can enjoy a relaxing coffee or prepare a meal. We provide complimentary breakfast for guests in the adjoining family owned “Shimna Café”. We offer a choice of a cooked “Irish Breakfast” or a Continental breakfast in our family friendly café.
