About

Join us this December for a magical morning of creativity and imagination at Newcastle Community Cinema's (NCC) monthly 'Wee Book to Screen' event! In partnership with Wee Bookworms, we invite children aged 3-6 to enjoy a delightful storybook-themed experience.
Event Highlights:

Featured Film: Enjoy a screening a short film adaptation of Judith Kerr's much loved Mog the moggy. We meet Mog who feels a little ignored during the Thomas family's Christmas preparations. When she spots the huge Christmas tree, she freaks out and climbs to the roof, where she refuses to move no matter how hard the family tries.

Storytime: Before the film, our special reading session will bring the beloved tale to life, igniting the children's imaginations.

Creative Activities: Following the screening, children will engage in fun, themed crafts and activities that complement the story, allowing them to express their creativity.

Don't miss this opportunity for your little ones to enjoy a morning filled with stories, laughter, and creativity. Join us for an enchanting experience that will spark a love for reading and film!

Recommend age range 3-6. All welcome. Under 1yr Free.
All children must be accompanied.
