Drumcullan Road, Downpatrick, County Down, BT30 8HZ
The Ballydugan Medieval Settlement

About

We are excited to announce the reopening of the village for the coming season. This will combine modern day Easter family fun with the old Ostara celebrations and traditions, as well as a medieval market.

There will be lots of free children's activities such as Egg a Viking, egg and spoon race, Easter treasure hunt, egg decorating, also including little warriors boot camp, where kids will learn how to fight like a Viking using shield wall battle tactics. There will be battle displays too. Fancy dress is encouraged with prizes for the best Viking/Shield maiden.
