Enjoy Colum Sands, These Quiet Places at The Gathering, Hilltown Storytelling Festival this weekend. Colum Sands has been growing and weaving songs and stories around the world since he first set out on his musical travels from County Down, nearly fifty years ago.
"These Quiet Places" takes a thought provoking and humorous stroll through the highways and byways of past and present to bring to the world of 2022 some of that welcome medicine which one critic described as Colum's ability to "view the world with balanced, non-tribalistic humanity, breaking down all kinds of barriers and leaving behind an optimism and appreciation of the power of the human spirit over adversity."
