Newry Food Tour is an exciting culinary walking experience located within the Mourne Gullion Strangford UNESCO Global Geopark, where you can sample the finest flavours of local food and drink produce. This immersive tour takes you on a journey through the vibrant food & drink scene of Newry City, showcasing the region's finest local produce, talented chefs, and unique flavours.

Designed to celebrate the rich agricultural heritage of the region, this food tour aims to highlight the importance of supporting local businesses and sustainable practices.

You will have the opportunity to explore the hidden gems of Newry's culinary landscape. Led by local knowledgeable tour guide Declan McConaghy, you will embark on a guided walking tour through the city, visiting various establishments that embody the essence of Newry's local produce culture.

The experience will include visits to various family-owned businesses, where you will witness first-hand the dedication and care that goes into cultivating fresh produce. You will have the chance to engage with the business owners to hear their stories, and gain insights into their journey and how it all connects back to Newry.

The tour will introduce you to local artisanal food produce, where you sample an array of mouth-watering fruit, freshly baked bread and pastries, ice cream and sample locally produced drinks along with other delectable treats.
