About

Are you ready for a Peak Adventure ?
On this Peak Adventure hike we will be giving you the opportunity to complete two of seven highest peaks in the Mournes, Slieve Meelmore (680m) and Slieve Meelbeg (702m).

Starting from Happy Valley Car Park we will follow the Mourne Way towards Fofanny Dam and then follow the Col towards Slieve Meelbeg / Slieve Loughshannagh saddle.  From here, we will follow the Mourne Wall to the summit Slieve Loughshannagh (672m) to be met with views of Lough Shannagh, Spelga Resevoir and the Western Mournes.

Following the Mourne Wall back down and over to our second summit of the day, Slieve Meelbeg and onto the third summit Slieve Meelmore. With its distinctive corner water tower we will have views right along the Mourne Wall over Slieve Bearnagh and across to Slieve Donard on a clear day .
