About
Artist Adrian Margey will be holding a major exhibition and sale of his work at the refurbished Slieve Donard Resort and Spa Newcastle County Down this Bank Holiday Weekend (Saturday 26 – Monday 28 August).
Margey's stuning new collection will place a strong focus on the landscape and landmarks of County Down and the Mournes area. Contemporary and traditional depictions of Murlough Bay, Spelga, Silent Valley, Newcastle, Annalong Harbour and Dundrum Bay will feature prominently, with portrayals of North Down and the Ards Peninsula also on show. Best known for his vibrant colour palette and simplified form, visitors will also enjoy his more recent work which uses a more naturalistic colour palette and impressionistic style. Belfast and Dublin cityscapes and interpretations of the artist's beloved North Coast are also tipped to be popular with collectors.
The artist will be in attendance all weekend to discuss his work. Opening times are as follows: Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 August: 11am – 8pm / Monday 28 August: 11am – 6pm. Admission free – everyone welcome. Further details about the exhibition can be found atwww.adrianmargey.com. For more information, telephone the Portrush Studio on +44(0)78 4159 3762.
