22 Main Street, Hilltown, County Down, BT34 5UH
Colum Sands and Anne Harper

About

Saving the best to the last, the final night of The Gathering, Hilltown Storytelling Festival. Folksinger/storyteller Colum Sands and classical musician Anne Harper weave stories, songs and tunes around the language that connects us all to the places where we live.

Apart from being well travelled musicians, Colum Sands and Anne Harper have a high regard for their home places and the stories that run from the shores of Carlingford Lough to the slopes of Knock Iveagh and far beyond. Both musicians are deeply involved in present-day stories and campaigns to develop respect for nature and to celebrate those parts of our past that can help build a better future for all life on the planet.

Sunday 10 April, Tipsy Cow, Hilltown. Doors open at 7pm with finger buffet.
