About

It's International Children's Day in McClelland Park in Newry City from 2pm-6pm. Sticky Fingers are bringing Art and fun to the Park along with their partners from Dublin, The Museum of Childhood Ireland, for a celebration of play. We believe every child of every abilility has a right to play, to be heard and to have access to a happy and healthy childhood..

CALLING ALL CHILDREN Come along and dance, sing and play!

Play is vital and an important part of a child's life improving their physical, emotional and cognitive and social development facilitating learning, problem solving and communication skills. As adults we need to actively encourage play for our children.

We will be hosting our most important VIPs; children from our Polish, Chinese, Indian and local communities. This is a FREE event celebrating diversity without borders; a cross community, cross-cultural, all-ability, all-island celebration of Children.

It's Playtime!
Come and Join the fun – Saturday 1 June 2024 from 2pm - 6pm, McClellend Park, Newry City.

Activities will include games and music from many different traditions, children's arts activities, stories, songs, dance, games, giant chess, snakes and ladders, skipping, tig, and many more surprises!
