Greyhound of a Girl

GREYHOUND

About

This heart-lifting animated 2023 adaptation of Roddy Doyle's much-loved children's novel, directed by Enzo D'Alo, follows the irrepressibly cheeky Mia, as she navigates the world-stopping loss she feels following the death of her beloved Granny.
Exquisitely drawn, this beautiful, sensitive version elegantly deals with childhood grief in a sweet & non-patronising manner, and features exemplary (and very funny) VO work from luminaries such as Sharon Horgan & Brendan Gleeson. It's best to go in knowing as little as possible - unless you've read the book! Be assured this compassionate story will leave only the very chilliest of hearts unwarmed.
