About

Ballynoe Stone Circle is one of the most important and intriguing prehistoric monuments in Ulster. Dating from the late Neolitihic period, this site may include passage tombs and court tombs. Brian Sloan of Queen's University Belfast will lead a guided walk of this site which will explore the archaeology of the stone circle and look at the various interpretations for its use.

The walk will start at 7pm. Please meet at 6.45pm. Please be prepared for the weather and terrain with appropriate footwear and raingear if necessary. Suitable for adults and older children.

Admission is free but pre-booking is necessary
