Looking for a fun, family-friendly adventure this Easter? Join us at Down County Museum this Easter Monday and enjoy:

• Free museum tours (10:30am & 3pm)
• Outdoor games – all day - weather permitting!
• Arts & crafts – with Down Community Arts (11am-4pm) – Unleash your creativity!
• Easter Egg Hunt – (all day) find hidden eggs and win sweet prizes!
• Face Painting – (11am-4pm) become a new character with a burst of colour!
• Music – Anne Harper (12noon-3pm) to brighten your day!
• Don't forget to stop by our 'History to Go' table to pick up a book and take a little history home with you.

When Can You Visit?
We're open this Easter weekend on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday from 10am-4:30pm, and entry is FREE!

Road Directions

We are located on the Mall, English Street, Downpatrick, between Down Cathedral and Downpatrick Courthouse. On entry to the town from either the Belfast road or the Newcastle road, follow the brown signs to the Museum.

Public Transport Directions

There is an Ulsterbus service from Belfast to Downpatrick, departing from Adelaide Street. There is also an Ulsterbus service from Newry.
