Colin Murphy

Colin has played sell out shows throughout Ireland and at the biggest and best comedy festivals around the world including Edinburgh, Melbourne, Montreal, and Kilkenny Cat Laughs. For the last twenty-five years he has been an almost permanent fixture on Irish television and for sixteen of those years he has been a panellist on the award winning BBC show The Blame Game. His last two stand-up tours, Colinization and Whatchamacolin, were hugely popular sell out shows. His act, a distinct fusion of edgy "in your face" topical satire, with acute observational material and off the cuff improvisation, make him a highly original and much sought after performer. "He is distinguishably good. He has a knack of making each member of the audience feel like a friend, delivering pin-sharp observations in the form of shared confidences." The Guardian

Conor's laidback style has been well received in many venues and has featured on the award-nominated BBC's Live at the Sunflower and he is a regular performer throughout Ireland, playing in iconic N.I. venues such as the The Grand Opera House, Waterfront Hall, Ulster Hall, Laverys, The Empire, Mandela Hall, and further afield performing at Roisin Dubh, The Stand, Jongleurs, The Frog & Bucket and Hot Water Comedy Club.
