Book Launch of Mournes in Motion

Main Street, Newcastle, Down, BT33 0AE
Launch of Mournes in Motion, a book of poetry and prose inspired by living in the Mournes

About

Open Invitation to Newcastle Writers Group launch of their new published book 'Mournes in Motion'.
Date: Tuesday 19th December from 4.15 - 5.15pm. Festive drinks and eats available. Venue: The Library, The Main Street, Newcastle Co Down.
This powerful anthology of Poetry and Prose is in essence a love letter to the beautiful place its writers have chosen to call home. Suffused with vitality, it reflects the wonder of the Mourne landscape across its changing seasons with a lyricism and reverence that at times invokes Celtic spirituality. Here is elemental nature as a life force, a rich source of healing, of energy, of wonder and of great joy.
An exhibition to celebrate this book launch is taking place from Saturday 16th December to Friday 5th January in the Gallery Room, Library, Main Street Newcastle.
