About

Archie's Birthday Weekend Litter Pick & Coffee Morning
Join us in making a difference in Dundrum!

Six-year-old Archie has a big heart and an even bigger idea—he wants to help clean up Dundrum as part of his birthday weekend celebrations! Inspired by his love for the village and his concern for the environment, Archie has rallied his family, friends, and the local community to take action.

Event Details
Date: Saturday, April 5th
Meeting Point: Scopers Hot Food Bar
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Coffee Morning) | 12:00 PM onwards (Litter Pick)

What's Happening?
☕ Tea, Coffee & Scones Fundraiser (10 AM – 12 PM) – Hosted at Scopers Hot Food Bar, with all donations going to the Dundrum Village Association to support the upkeep of our beautiful village.

️ Community Litter Pick (12 PM onwards) – Join Archie, his little sister Poppy (4), and their friends as we clean up key areas, including the Wee Woods, Main Street, the coast, and up toward the dam.

Get Involved!
The local council has kindly agreed to loan litter pickers and bags, so we'll have supplies available for volunteers. Many of Archie's classmates from Annsborough Integrated Primary School have taken an interest, and we hope to see as many people as possible coming together to help keep Dundrum clean.

This event is about more than just picking up litter—it's about community spirit, environmental awareness, and celebrating Dundrum, which was recently named the best place to live in Northern Ireland by the Sunday Times!

Come along for a cuppa, lend a hand, and help Archie make a real difference.

See you there!
