Renowned for its friendly atmosphere, the building has a function room and attractive features such as a stained glass ceiling, sweeping wooden stair cases with unique carvings, comfortable snug style seating with lavish upholstery and air conditioning throughout.

Maginns has a reputation for serving good quality food prepared from fresh using locally sourced products. The Seasonal menus and daily specials ensure a wide and varied selection of competitively priced dishes.

Maginn's close proximity to the entrance of Castlewellan Forest park make it an ideal watering hole for visitors who can enjoy the many walks, visit the Peace Maze or recently refurbished arboretum, or indulge in such activities as fishing, Pony trekking or mountain biking.

The self contained function room is a popular venue for such occasions as weddings, christenings birthdays and anniversaries, conferences or group outings.
