Where is Delamont Country Park?

Delamont Country Park is situated on the shores of Strangford Lough in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Northern Ireland.  Situated just one mile (1.5km) from Killyleagh Town Centre, 30 minutes drive from Belfast and five minutes drive from Downpatrick on the A22 Downpatrick to Comber Road. 

The entrance to this beautiful 200 acre Country Park is off the main A22 Downpatrick to Comber Road and is well signposted from each direction.

Follow the sign posted trails and take in the sites from the Strangford Stone to the Nut Wood and Corbally Wood.  From the Adventure Playpark and Delamont Miniature Railway to Steamer's Cafe right beside, there's plenty to keep the whole family busy.

Be sure to pause and take in the views of the gentle rolling hills and the Mourne Mountains, and the island-studded waters.  Strangford the UK's largest sea lough and only one of three Marine Nature Reserves in the UK.

Herons’ Nest Event Facility

This indoor facility with a private walled garden and BBQ area, is available for private hire.
