The Horsebox

About

Our guests are telling us that a stay at The Horsebox is a wonderful and unique experience. A quirky conversion with an abundance of luxury. You have to stay here to admire what that there is to offer.

There is a cosy king size bed from where you can see for miles. Your own indoor and outdoor seating and dining. A private bathroom in the adjoining vintage horsebox. There is a kitchen area, WiFi and a TV. You can enjoy the 2 decks located on the original lorry ramps. A south facing sun deck overlooking the magnificent Mourne Mountains, and a west facing deck to watch glorious sunsets. The Horsebox is fully insulated with central heating so cosy any time of the year.

Set on the edge of our haymeadow, you will have you own private little corner of our 10 acre smallholding. At The Horsebox you can admire the rolling Co Down countryside, watch the wildlife, and wile away your afternoons in the peace and tranquility. Yet only 30 minutes to Belfast and less than 10 minutes to local towns and villages. We are very fortunate to have excellent eateries within a close area and many tourist attractions and wedding venues close by too.

Dogs are welcome at The Horsebox but the accommodation is not suitable for children.
