Rostrevor Holidays - The Ceili House

About

Please also see our other properties Number 12 or our one and two bedroom cottages for smaller groups.

Just outside the village of Rostrevor, Co. Down, Rostrevor Holidays is situated in the foothills of the Mourne Mountains. With fantastic views across the mountains and down to Carlingford Lough, the self catering accommodation is suitable for those looking for a relaxing break, or for families looking for somewhere to let their kids explore the outdoors.

Our clean and cosy three bedroom cottages, sleep up to six people. In Tieveodockarragh, Slieve Martin, and Cnoc Si, a combined kitchen and living area, with an open log fire, is perfect for family get togethers, or somewhere to relax with your friends after a long day of walking or mountain-biking in the Mournes. There is a separate bathroom, WC, and shower room, so no need to worry about queues. The cottages have all modern conveniences, including washer dryer, and a dishwasher. Oil fired central heating is included in the price. We can provide cots and highchairs if needed.

The Ceili House has a large living/dining room with a Liscannor stone floor, suitable for entertaining larger groups. There is a separate, fully equipped kitchen. Sleeping arrangements are three twin rooms, two of which are en suite. Please request further information, as the accommodation may not be suitable for toddlers or the less able.

On site, there is also plenty to do. We have a children’s playground, and the tennis court is always popular for those wanting to show off their competitive side. For somewhere to get away for a picnic or to get closer to nature, we have a two kilometre riverside/farm trail. This brings you right around the farm on which Rostrevor Holidays is situated, and runs along the Yellow Water River.

In 2015 Rostrevor Holidays were awarded a Bronze Award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
