Rostrevor Holidays - Owenabwee

About

Please also see our one, two, and three bedroom cottages Rostrevor Holidays.

Carnaclasha and Owenabwee are two self-catering houses located on the Rostrevor Holidays premises, two miles outside of Rostrevor, Co. Down. These large houses have modern luxury, from deep comfortable sofas and chairs, to extra spacious bedrooms – all of which are en suite. With such room, they are ideal for a group of friends having a reunion, or family groups.

The large living/dining areas have views out over the wild flower garden, down through Kilbroney Valley to Carlingford Lough. One has a large open-fire, whilst the other has a Jotul wood burning stove. The kitchen areas are fitted out in light oak with Mourne granite worktops. Modern conveniences, such as a dishwasher, washer/dryer, food processor, microwave, are included. Under floor heating runs through the hall, whilst the bedrooms have warm carpet. Both houses have oil fired central heating. In each house, two of the bedrooms have two single beds, whilst the third bedroom has a double and one single bed. Each bedroom has a remote controlled television and large, built in wardrobes.

The four star house (Number 12) is situated slightly away from the other cottages on site, and is nestled between the Cross River and the Yellow Water River. The two kilometre riverside/farm nature trail can be started from beside the house. On-site, we have a children’s playground, and a tennis court. The world famous Royal County Down Links Golf Course is only 20 minutes drive from Rostrevor Holidays.

In 2015 Rostrevor Holidays were awarded a Bronze Award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
