Our beautiful bungalow is in a small development on the outskirts of Downpatrick just off Saul Road. Just a few minutes drive away is Saul Church built on the site of the church St Patrick built when he came to Ireland. On Saul Road golfers will find 'The Hidden Gem' - St Patricks Golf course and just a 5-minute drive will bring you to The Quoile - one of the locations used in Game of Thrones.
You have the ideal base to explore the beautiful Strangford and Lecale area full of history and culture - St Patrick’s Trail, Game of Thrones and many National Trust sites. Belfast, the Titanic Centre and the world-famous coastal drive to the Giants Causeway are all within easy driving.
So many lovely beaches and fishing ports all within a 30 minute radius...Ardglass, Tyrella, Nature Reserve near Dundrum. Visit Castlewellan and Tullymore Forest Parks and only 15 minutes away is Killyleagh Castle
In Banbridge, you will find the new Game of Thrones Centre and within 20 minutes you will find two of the famous Game of Thrones doors. There are many National Trust sites close by - Mountstewart, Delamont Park, Rowallane Gardens to name a few.
