About

Welcome To Killeavy Castle Estate

Killeavy Castle Estate is the perfect antidote to the modern fast paced world. As the centrepiece of 350 acres of mixed farm and woodland in County Armagh’s stunning Slieve Gullion, it’s the ideal place to escape, retreat, relax and unwind. Easily accessible only 10 minutes outside Newry City and one hour from both Belfast and Dublin Airports makes it Northern Irelands premier Hotel and Spa destination.

At Killeavy Castle Estate we are all about living life more slowly and in the present; cherishing those ahhh moments for when the distractions of the modern world finally ebb away and you get closer to the things that matter most. Whether that’s nature, history, loved ones or even yourself, this secluded country Estate will provide everything you need to emerge fully rejuvenated.

Perfect for a unique getaway, wedding or special celebration, take a closer look at everything the Estate has to offer from a beautifully restored 19th Century Castle with several reception spaces, private dining room, wood panelled library and four bedrooms. This building has been exquisitely decorated in keeping with the period of the castle.

A boutique style Hotel with forty-five guestrooms delicately decorated in a modern style, walls in soft greys, burnt oranges, greens, taking in all the seasonal colours of the hinterland. All rooms are equipped with the latest technology and suitable for double or twin occupancy.

The Gatelodge provides three guestrooms with distinctive period detailing in keeping with its surroundings. Two bathrooms with fully fitted kitchen with all modern amenities makes the Gatelodge the perfect base for that longer retreat.

The Spa is equipped with seven treatment rooms, indoor and outdoor thermal areas providing over 40 treatments to choose from. All services are delivered by our team experienced Spa Therapists using the brands of ELEMIS.

A Working Farm and Walled Garden enables us appreciate culinary excellence through the use of organically grown fresh produce and our own Longhorn Cattle and Cheviot Sheep. Our award-winning innovative Chefs use only the finest daily picked home-grown ingredients to complement our farm produce.

The onsite Farm Store  -  We're dedicated to our farm-to-fork approach and offer only the best products from our working farm and walled garden, including freshly cut meat and vegetables. We also have a selection of items from trusted local suppliers. Our partners are carefully selected based on their commitment to sustainable practices and reducing their carbon footprint, aligning with our values. The store is open 7 days a week, Monday to Wednesday from 9:00am to 4:00pm | Thursday and Friday from 9:00am to 6:30pm | Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
