Our unique and stylish Leitrim Lodge glamping pods offer a perfect short getaway for couples and families set in the heart of Ireland’s most famous Mountain range. You are in an exclusive group of 6 luxury glamping pods at the foot of the picturesque Rocky Mountain. The Mourne Mountain Region is designated as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and parts are owned by the National Trust.

Our pods sleep up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) with a comfy double bed and hotel-quality bed-linen included, plus integrated bunkbeds tucked away, ideal for tweens or teens.

The glamping pods cosy, fully furnished and have all the comforts of home including electric, running water, mini fridge and heating. Make your holiday unique in our well-equipped pods and with self-check-in/out you are safe, secure, but can create your own holiday experience. BBQ and camp fire pack are recommended! Each pod features an expansive glazed entrance, coffee dock, shower room, and somewhere to sit and relax.

Just a short drive from County Down’s top attractions such as: Slieve Donard, Slieve Binnian, Silent Valley Reservoir, Murlough beach and National Nature Reserve, Tullymore Forest Park, Spelga Dam, Kilbroney Forest Park and lots more!

You are also within walking distance of a little-known Game of Thrones film location on the old Batts Estate, picturesque forest trails and mountain paths.

In driving distance from Hilltown, Newcastle and Castlewellan where you will be spoilt for choice with a diverse range of restaurants, pubs and entertainment events.

Just 1hr 30mins from Dublin and 45 mins from Belfast, Leitrim Lodge is a central location for a relaxing short break away.

Please note that there is a minimum 2 night stay during July and August. Limited availability 1 night stays for July and August will be released in June.
