Cavan House

About

Cavan House is a beautiful country farmhouse built in 1841. It is set just outside the quaint town of Rathfriland, at the foot of the Mourne Mountains.  This Georgian family home provides spacious luxury self catering accommodation with idyllic rural surroundings, large private garden and beautiful views.

It benefits from all modern features without losing its farm house charm. There is a large luxurious sitting room with an open fire, antique furniture, flat screen TV and DVD player, Satellite TV & complimetary wifi.

The kitchen, complete with an Aga cooker is ideal for cooking and enjoying some local produce with family and friends. The large dining room with French doors out to the patio is the perfect place to congregate, whether in front of the log stove or a burning barbeque outside.

With four spacious bedrooms and large bathroom, it is an ideal sanctuary to chill out after a busy day.

This lavish home provides a relaxing alternative to city bustle with its peaceful backdrop. It provides an excellent base for the perfect family break, with lovely rural walks from the property, and convenient to Newcastle, Castlewellan, Banbridge and Newry.
