On Friday 17 March, Newry and Mourne Museum will host children’s arts and crafts workshops. This will involve children making their own leprechauns with their own pot of gold just in time for St. Patrick ’s Day.
Times are:
• 10.00 – 11.00am
• 11.30am – 12.30pm
Numbers are limited so pre-booking of places is advisable. An adult must accompany children.
There will be guided tours of the temporary exhibitions “Caring for the Community: The Development of Medicine in Newry and Mourne”, “The Legacy: Newry 1920 - 1930” and “Seamus Mallon: The Man and the Politician” at 11.30 and 2.30pm.
There will also be an afternoon of traditional music from 2pm – 4pm.
