Both Museums have an active learning programme for all ages.
The Museums provides curriculum-linked lesson on a variety of topics particularly for primary schools. Our schools’ programmes are designed to bring heritage to life for pupils and enable them to engage in active exploration of the world around them.
There are also topics and themes of interest to secondary schools and university students.
The Museums offers seasonal arts and crafts activities for families throughout the year. There are also workshops, courses and lectures organised throughout the year on different topics and themes including the history and heritage of the region.
