Our Museums have a wealth of information about their collections and have made it accessible through an extensive publication list which we hope you enjoy.
Newry and Mourne Museum produces a booklet to accompany each of its temporary exhibitions. These booklets comprise articles written by Museum Staff on topics relevant to the exhibition and articles based on the memories and experiences of members of the public. These contributions from the public often provide knowledge which is not available elsewhere. Illustrated with material from the Museum Collection, booklets from our most recent temporary exhibitions are available on pdf format on this website.
A number of publications have been produced by Newry and Mourne Museum based on discrete research projects on documents and material in its archival collections. These include Newry’s Roll of Honour (1915), a transcript and analysis of a report on the estates of the Earl of Kilmorey in south Down (1860), a catalogue of the Éamon Donnelly Collection and various resources on the local impact of the First World War. These are also available on the website.
