Down County Museum is an ideal venue for a visit by community groups, clubs and societies. Our permanent exhibition, Down Through Time, explores the history of County Down from earliest times to today and provides a comprehensive introduction to the history of the County. In addition, every year the Museum has a number of special, changing exhibitions displaying objects from our varied collections. Groups can also explore the history of the old Gaol and find out more about crime and punishment in the past.
