On Bank Holiday Monday, 26th August, we are joined by Bricks4Kidz to deliver four special, bookable workshops. Taking inspiration from the Down County Museum collection, and using Brickz4Kidz' specially-designed, tried and tested kits, your child can enjoy building a 3D model within the workshop. Explore and learn in a new, fun way.
There's four one-hour sessions to choose from:
10.30 Dedicated session for SEN children aged 4+. Take advantage of a dedicated session which provides creativity and challenge in a supportive environment. This session is just for children who would benefit from a quieter environment, or more one-to-one attention from the delivery team. Please give any information you think would help the team on booking.
11.45 Open for 4-7 year olds, your child will have the opportunity to build a 3D animal model inspired by our farming collection.
1.30 A repeat of the 11.45 session.
3.00 A session exclusively designed for the over 7's, this will concentrate on 3D builds and mechanics, with a focus on historic vehicles and transportation. Fun and dynamic, this build is sure to challenge and inspire.
All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Throughout the day, we have a free play area with Duplo bricks for younger children under 4 and Lego if you want to build more fun into your visit.
Please note that it is not possible for children under 4 to participate in the booked workshops for health and safety, and to ensure that age-appropriate activities are provided.
A note: A family with siblings at different ages? The Brickz4Kidz facilitators have advised that older children can be provided with some alternative kits to stretch them at the sessions tailored for younger children. The session for older children is designed to be more complex and challenging and so would not suit younger builders, so remains strictly over 7yrs.
