Directions from Belfast
Follow the A7 from Belfast or the A25 from Clough into Downpatrick town centre, drive straight to the T junction at the end of Market Street and turn left. Down Arts Centre is a large red brick building with a clock tower on the right hand side, on the corner of Irish and Scotch Street.
Car Parking
There are several pay and display car parks in the near vicinity and some on-street parking nearby. There are several attractions close by including the St Patrick’s Centre, Down Cathedral and Down County Museum.

Down Arts Centre has a gallery space on the ground floor; the exhibitions change on a monthly basis and are always worth a visit.
There is a craft shop in the reception area that stocks local craft makers ranging from Alison Hanvey’s functional ceramics, Mount Ida’s quirky ceramic creatures to the very sophisticated leather satchels by Enda Kenny and an array of beautiful sterling silver jewellery by Ghost and Bonesetter.
