About

Set in the pretty village of Bryansford, at the foot of the Mourne Mountains and across the road from Tollymore Forest Park, Roden Court is a small courtyard development of modern townhouses. The Jays is a well-equipped and comfortably furnished end house with a private and peaceful rear yard.

We aim to present a clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated house as a home from home with a double bedroom and ensuite shower room downstairs and a single room and bunk room upstairs next to the family bathroom. The sitting room (with open fire in winter) is upstairs to enjoy the view.

Bed linen and towels are provided (except beach towels) and central heating and electric are included in the cost.

For the benefit of Game of Thrones® fans, The Jays is just opposite filming locations for lands around Winterfell and North of the Wall.

This is a location to recharge and relax. Whether by sitting back and enjoying the view or taking on the challenges of exploring the Mourne Mountains, Tollymore Forest Park, the beaches of South Down.

The Royal County Down golf course is only 3 miles away on the edge of Newcastle town.

To give an idea of distances - the Giant's Causeway is not much more than 2 hours away.

Plenty of good restaurants, bistros and pubs can be found in the local area. Details of these can be found in the information folder in the house.

During July and August bookings are weekly from Saturday to Saturday. Shorter breaks are available throughout the rest of the year. Please contact premises directly.

Sorry, no pets accepted and no smoking in the house.
