The beds were clean and comfortable, the rooms private and spacious, the self-catering kitchen well stocked, and the cosy common room with fire the perfect end to a drive in the dusky rain!

It was great to get local insight and from someone who clearly loves her native area. The lodge itself is clean and comfortable and had a huge kitchen and living room and a costcutters next door. This is a great place. We will be back.

  Absolutely 1st Class Lodge. Mairead, met us & explained loads of interesting things about the area. Unfortunately we were only staying 1 night but will definitely be back.
Comfortable... read more beds, spotless accommodation, loads of extras: hot water bottles, fresh spring water, toiletries, hairdryers, straightners & fab kitchen, great for meeting other climbers & interesting people. Very reasonable.

  What a gem of a place communication so good received message room was ready so early keys left in door turned up and unpacked we where then able too... read more enjoy rest of day. everything you need is catered for host is lovely, location is unreal right beside silent valley. rooms really clean and beds so comfortable. ideal for large families or groups are room had 7 beds.
