A Family Owned Cafe in a Former Church

Located on the edge of Kilbroney Park, the Church Cafe Bistro offers traditional continental cuisine, using ingredients sourced throughout the Mourne Mountains & Ring of Gullion. Housed in a restored church building in the heart of Rostrevor, the Cafe Bistro offers a stunning mixture of modern and traditional interior design.

Step back into nature at the Fodder Farm Shop and Cafe in Finnebrogue. The menu showcases the farm’s Dexter beef, while also offering a range of modern vegan and vegetarian dishes.

Fodder also boasts its own exclusive trails through the local woodlands, for the perfect way to enjoy some local ice cream or a takeaway coffee.

A Cottage Tearoom in Annalong

Set in a traditional cottage at the foot of the Mournes, the Carrick Cottage Cafe offers a traditional tearoom and cafe, with favourites including scones, tray bakes, fried breakfasts, as well as hot cups of tea and coffee.

The cottage itself houses eighteen diners, while the newly built veranda can host a further twenty guests, who can take in picturesque views over the Irish Sea.

Afternoon Tea at Killeavy Castle

Built in the mid 1800s, Killeavy Castle is one of the most opulent buildings. Lovingly restored in 2018, today it’s also one of the most elegant visitor attractions in the region.

Sit down to afternoon tea, as designed by the estate’s executive chef, Darragh Dooley. A range of teas, coffees and sparkling wines complement a menu of hand crafted pastries, buns and sandwiches.
