This self catering cottage set within the spectaular Mourne Mountain countryside of County Down, sleeps 8 people and has open plan kitchen, dining and liviing area with log fire stove. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 ensuites, one family bathroom and one ensuite ideal for wheelchair users. It has ramps to front and side and offers overhead hoist and profile bed for those with disabilities.

Located in a rural setting, yet within walking distance of local Castlewellan Town Centre with its shops, bars and restaurants. It is a short drive to Newcastle beaches and nature reserve and for Game of Throne Fans close to Tollymore Park and Banbridge.

The home is modern, comfortable and welcoming. The property is accessed with ramps to the front and side and all doors have 926mm (36”) clear opening. It is ideally located for those who enjoy the outdoors with forest parks and beaches close to hand. It is a superb base for mountain biking, hill trekking, pony trekking, water sports and golfing .

The hosts will endeavour to meet any special requirements which may be needed.

Families and groups are welcomed at Newton Lodge.
